Arrive early on the day

Please assist us by arriving 15 minutes prior to your appointment to enable you to complete the necessary paperwork.

Your initial consultation

Typically, your initial appointment will take approximately 30 minutes and will include a general assessment and oral cancer screening. Your dentist will examine your entire mouth and gently explore the state of your teeth and gums, taking x-rays and talking you through the process step by step.

Running late & cancellations

Arriving late will limit the length of your treatment. Treatments will finish at their scheduled time as to not disadvantage the next patient. Should you need to change your appointment, we kindly ask for 24 hours notice.

The Practice

Viva Dental is open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and on Saturday by appointment. We have a large parking area and are wheelchair access friendly.

Having been established in Hervey Bay for over 7 years now, our clinic continues to provide excellent preventative and general dentistry to the community. We aim to make dentistry available to everyone, we are so proud to offer our no gap check up and clean offer and have multiple payment plan options to ensure you are able to access the care you need.

The clinic offers state of the art technology enabling us to provide you with a smooth ride through any treatment you undertake. We have digital scanners, no need for the mouth full of yucky impression material. We are also equipped to offer SAME DAY CROWNS, meaning no need to go back just to have a crown placed.

Our aim is that every time you visit our clinic you receive gentle, thorough and high-class care. Going to the dentist can be easy to put off; it can be expensive, scary and appointment times that don’t suit your busy life are all reasons some people avoid the dentist. At Viva Family Dental you are in safe hands. We offer interest free payment plans of up to 18 months and accept all health funds.

We also understand that a lot of our patients live busy lives, and to help you fit us in we offer early morning and late evening appointments. As all of our dentists live locally, we can also attend to a dental emergency that arises outside of business hours. We have patients from all over the Wide Bay region and look forward to meeting many more!
