How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign takes advantage of some very clever technology. This technology allows a digital scan of your teeth to be transformed into the smile you like, then it plans out a series of clear aligners that will quickly and safely move your teeth into the desired position.

Invisalign straightens your teeth faster than traditional braces

With the aid of the digital scan and computer aided design, the aligners are all individually made to suit your needs. This is different to traditional metal braces that use standardised brackets to move teeth AND it means that Invisalign can work quickly. This means you get the smile you want faster and more efficiently.

Our Process for Invisalign

Initial Consult & Scans

Come in to visit Dr Esther for a consultation to assess your mouth. We will ensure that the teeth are healthy enough to be moved safely and that we can solve your crowding with Invisalign.

Tailored Treatment Plan & Investment

Photographs, x-rays and a 5 minute digital scan of your teeth will then be taken to create a profile for Invisalign. Dr Esther will then work with Invisalign to tailor a treatment plan that will suit your mouth and facial aesthetics.

Treatment and Custom Aligners

Once all the planning is finished we will show you a movie of how your teeth will move through out treatment and their final position. If you are happy and approve the treatment, Invisalign will send us the aligners for your case. Each tray will carefully fit your teeth. Each new aligner changes very slightly, and with each new tray you move closer to the finished smile!
