Looking after your child’s teeth

By introducing your child to the dentist from an early age (2 years, unless there are any concerns prior), you are helping to ensure their teeth are developing normally, kept clean and are free of cavities.

Routine 6 monthly preventative care appointments ensure that if concerns are found, they are treated early hence keeping the costs involved to a minimum. It is our mission to provide a gentle approach, so that each visit is a pleasant one.

Child Dental Benefits Scheme

Accepted by Viva Family Dental, the Child Dental Benefits Schedule provides access to benefits for basic dental services to children aged 2-17 years. The total benefit entitlement is capped at $1,013 per child over a two calendar year period.

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule provides individual benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.
