Root Canal Therapy

Root Canal Therapy can be the best solution to a painful tooth where the goal is to not have that tooth removed. Root canal therapy removes infected tissues from inside your tooth and sterilises the remaining tooth. This results in alleviation of pain and infection being removed from your body. While root canal has a reputation of being scary, this is far from the truth and our dentists often find patients are so relaxed during the procedure that they fall asleep while under-going treatment. We use the highest standard of sterilisation and follow all modern protocols to ensure the greatest chances of success.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Softer diets in modern societies have contributed to the underdevelopment of our jaws and, unfortunately, for most of us this will mean there is not enough room for our wisdom teeth. When these teeth become impacted and push against other teeth, infection and pain can result. In a lot of these cases, the best treatment is to have the wisdom teeth removed.

Viva Family Dental will carefully assess your situation, using x-ray technology, to provide you with a solution to this problem. Dr Chadha has a special interest in this area of oral surgery and can provide wisdom teeth removal under local anaesthetics or IV sedation at our clinic. In cases where there is significant risk of nerve damage we refer to a specialist Maxillo-Facial Surgeon.

Dentures

Dentures, both full and partial, provide a fantastic and aesthetic method of replacing missing teeth. Dentures are a cost-effective way of getting your smile back, but also, can replace teeth for the short term while you wait for bone healing / grafting and the placement of a dental implant or bridge.

If your current denture is not fitting properly and is loose, we can place dental implants that will allow your denture to attach to and remain stable in your mouth. We have found this solution to be life changing to our patients who have struggled for years with loose dentures.
